Sales Pipeline and CRM

Car sales CRM that follows your deal from lead to delivered

DriveGo brings together your leads, customers, test drives, deals and commission calculations in one sales pipeline built specifically for UK car dealerships. No more notebooks, no more spreadsheets.

Your sales team is juggling three programmes for every deal

The lead sits in the inbox, the customer is written in a calendar, the deal is scrawled in a notebook and the commission is calculated in a spreadsheet. Every deal costs time that could go into closing the next one. DriveGo consolidates the entire sales process so one deal lives in one system from start to finish — and the salesperson can focus on the customer rather than on the system.

What DriveGo does for your sales team

7-stage pipeline for car sales

Lead, qualified, test drive, negotiation, contract, finance, delivered. Each stage has its own fields, reminders and workflow tailored to where in the process the deal sits.

Full customer history in one place

Everything the customer has done — previous purchases, test drives, enquiries, contract proposals, service agreements — is one click away. The salesperson meets the customer prepared, without digging around.

Automated follow-up reminders

Automatic reminders when a deal has been stalled too long, when a test drive has not been followed up, or when finance is missing a next step. No deal is forgotten.

Commission calculation built in

Commission is calculated automatically per deal based on your rules — fixed amount, margin-based, tiered or combinations. The salesperson sees their earnings in real time.

Contracts directly from the deal

Generate purchase agreements, finance contracts and delivery documents directly from the open deal. E-signing is built in, so the customer signs from home in minutes.

Integrated with stock

Reserve a vehicle directly from an open deal. The system knows which vehicles are tied to which customers and warns you if two salespeople want the same car.

Multi-salesperson overview

The sales manager sees the entire team's pipeline in one place — who has what open, which deals are stalled, where the bottlenecks are. Perfect for weekly pipeline meetings.

Xero/Sage synchronisation

When the deal is closed and the invoice is generated, it syncs automatically to Xero or Sage with the correct customer data, VAT and product codes. No double-entry.

"DriveGo gives us oversight of stock, workshop and customers all in one system. We no longer have to juggle three different programmes."

How it works

  1. 1

    Lead created

The lead comes in from your website, by phone or in person. It is created in the pipeline with status 'lead' and automatically assigned to the salesperson taking over.

  2. 2

Qualify and arrange a test drive

The salesperson notes what the customer is looking for, sets status to qualified, and books a test drive directly from the deal. The calendar is updated and the customer receives an SMS confirmation.

  3. 3

Negotiate and send a contract proposal

Once the test drive is done and the customer is interested, the salesperson creates a contract proposal directly from the deal. Price, part-exchange, finance plan and delivery date — all in one document.

  4. 4

    E-signing and finance

The customer signs the contract digitally via e-signing from home. Finance is kicked off in parallel. Status moves automatically to 'contract' and then 'finance' when approval comes back.

  5. 5

    Delivery and commission payment

The vehicle is prepared, the customer collects it, and the deal is closed. Commission is calculated automatically and locked. The invoice syncs to Xero/Sage and the deal is archived in the customer's history.

Frequently asked questions

What does CRM mean for a car dealership?
CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. For a car dealership it means a system that brings together everything about each customer — contact details, purchase history, test drives, active deals, communication and follow-ups — so every salesperson can always meet the customer prepared. DriveGo's CRM is built into the sales pipeline, so customer data and deal data are automatically linked without manual transfer.
How does the 7-stage pipeline work?
Each deal moves through seven statuses from first contact to completed sale: lead, qualified, test drive, negotiation, contract, finance and delivered. Each stage has its own fields and reminders, and the system tells you which deals are stalled or need action. It gives structure to the sales process without forcing the salesperson to think about the process every time.
Can I customise the stages to suit my business?
Yes. The default pipeline is optimised for car sales, but you can rename the stages, add intermediate steps or remove stages that are not relevant for your business. A specialist operation with a few large deals might, for example, need an 'inspection' stage after the test drive.
How is commission calculated?
DriveGo supports multiple commission models at the same time: fixed amount per deal, percentage of the margin, tiered by turnover, or combinations. The rules are defined once in settings and the system calculates automatically per deal. The salesperson sees their expected and locked commission in real time.
Can I generate contracts directly from the system?
Yes. DriveGo has built-in contract templates for purchase agreements, finance contracts and delivery documents. You choose a template, the system fills in customer and vehicle data automatically, and the contract can be sent directly to the customer for e-signing without leaving the deal.
Does it integrate with Auto Trader for leads?
The plan is that leads from Auto Trader's enquiry form will be able to be created automatically as leads in DriveGo's pipeline via the coming Auto Trader integration. The salesperson you have configured as the lead recipient will receive them directly on their dashboard with the customer's details and the vehicle they are interested in.
